Work

Denters’ paintings depict intertwined bodies whose gestures create visual structures of support and balance. Figures often appear layered or partially overlapping, suggesting the accumulation of time and experience within the body.

Through simplified anatomy and curved, arching forms, the paintings emphasize the physical and emotional weight that bodies carry. Rather than portraying specific individuals, the figures function as archetypal presences through which shared memories and emotional states can be explored.

The restrained palette, dominated by terracotta, earth tones, and muted blues, evokes the atmosphere of aged frescoes and remembered moments.
